We initially chose Baptiste Lake Lodge as a convenient location, on a lake, close to Bancroft and mineral hunting. What we discovered is that the Lodge is a beautiful, comfortable resort surrounded by friendly, hospitable people (including the neighbors!). The Lodge is right on the lake, on a quiet street with virtually no traffic. The calls of loons are heard early morning and during the absolutely spectacular sun set over the lake. Our accommodations were spacious and comfortable. We used all spaces, including our lovely private deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the large back yard a lot, and did get out paddling on beautiful Baptiste Lake. The flowers and gardens around the property are lovely, obviously planted with love and care. The Lodge was well located for us, affording us quick access both north (we visited Algonquin Provincial Park) and to many south, east and west mineral hunting trips. We hope to visit this lodge again! p.s. I loved that the Lodge recycles! So many commercial establishments do not.

I loved the decorating inside. It had such a cabiny feel to it, not like a hotel or motel. The kitchenette was perfect.

We love the place, the unit is fully equipped with everything you might need (including dish soap, sponge, towels, toilet paper etc), kitchenette has all utensils. The unit is very spacious and upgraded, facing lake and a large lawn. Not crowded and you can relax at your own peace. We brought our puppy and it was safe for him to running unleashed. It feels like you’re visiting your parents living up north, so comfy and cozy! We would like to thank Derek and Jeffrey for making our stay amazing and helping with all routine questions.

Located near Hawk Junction, 27 km from Wawa, Air-Dale Lodge offers a restaurant and free WiFi. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Owner is very nice and view is excellent

This beachfront country-style resort in Brighton, Ontario features uniquely decorated rooms, some with wood beam ceilings. Barcovan Golf Club is 5 minutes’ drive away. great room, comfortable, warm and quiet. fantastic staff and great breakfast. thanks for the home made jam- was delicious.
