The property is well maintained, secluded and is very well equipped. Somehow the 50-70 year ago ambiance works - the house was only built about 10 - 15years' ago we understand. We met Peter the owner and had a most agreeable chat with him. We are on a 5 week road trip around Australia and this was the best accommodation we have found so far.

Ideally positioned for skiing and snowboarding, the property is located opposite the free village shuttle bus stop and the Lydia Lassila lift. Exceptional care by Jo and Frank, nothing was to much trouble. Beds were really comfy, the little extras like complementary Tea coffee Milo all the extra bits Jo and Frank is what makes a stay at Amber lodge so easy and relaxing. We have already booked for next year.

The cottage was absolutely divine, the beds really comfortable and the wood fire burner very warm and comfortable.
