Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance. Very cozy cabin with all the facilities we needed and a fireplace! It is placed in the middle of the forest, lots of wallabies around the house AND A WILD WOMBAT!

Located in Maydena, Maydena Mountain Cabins offers accommodation with a balcony or a patio, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as barbecue facilities. We really liked how the property was so cosy, peaceful and had everything you’d need for an evening of tranquility - down to all the appliances available; for example the slow cooker, electric blankets. Steve gave us a warm welcome, and was available if we needed anything throughout our stay. There is nothing we could fault about our stay here.

Located just 50 metres from the Tasman Sea, Saltwater - Absolute Oceanfront, Hot Tubs, Sauna, Fire Pits is set in Falmouth, 7-minutes' drive from Four Mile Creek. Convenient location could see the beach from the villa only a short walk. Villa was exceptionally clean and spacious! Will be back again

Just a minutes’ walk from a beautiful white sand beach, Adventure Bay Retreat Bruny Island offers luxury accommodation. Set on 33 acres of native bush land, guests can enjoy hiking. House was very warm and comfortable. Spa bath has a fabulous view.

Situated in a stunning waterfront location on the banks of the Derwent River, these fully self-contained studios and cottages are set amongst 2 acres of peaceful landscaped gardens. Nice breakfast provisions, toast, cereal and milk. Beautiful view of the river with patio space to enjoy it. Too bad I’m not a fisher or I would’ve liked to try fishing there. Nice little TV and DVD selection, framed photographic art in room. Comfy room and clean spacious a bathroom.

Oyster Cove Chalet offers spacious guest accommodation, situated on 6 acres of lovely bushland and gardens. All rooms feature a private patio, each with barbecue facilities. it was very quiet and though close to amenities felt a million miles from anywhere

Built in the 1870s, The Corinda Collection offers self-contained cottages and hotel style rooms. Set in lovely gardens, the property offers a 24-hour front desk and free parking. Absolutely beautiful home. We loved the Coach House as a family of four. Perfect size and so cosy.

Featuring a spa bath, a fireplace and a private balcony with native forest views, Woodbridge Hill Hideaway is just 5 minutes’ drive from Great Bay. We had an incredible stay. The views were amazing and would definitely be recommending to anyone coming to Tasmania. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Tasmania.

Whispering Spirit Holiday Cottages & Mini Ponies is located in Franklin and offers valley and mountain views, as well as secluded gardens. Everything. Lovely cosy fire (going when we arrived and easy to keep going the whole time we stayed), lovely clean strawbale house (very cosy and homely), wildlife, provisions provided, friendly host, availability of lovely homemade produce. We could easily have just whiled away a week without leaving the property.
