the family was great, they were so friendly and generours to have us with them. Only Lina was able to speak English but nevertheless we were able to communicate with the husband and the kids. Lina is a great cook and she served us traditional food (simple). When we needed a lift they were always on time. The loft is nice and the best part of it is the balcony. The shower has hot water.

I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place. The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. We stayed one night at Titicaca Aruntswi Lodge and had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The room was exactly as shown in the photo, and we were provided with a gas heater and rustic electricity: not standard 220 VAC, but enough for lights and charging personal electronics via USB. Eddy and his parents are very kind, gentle people, and were wonderful hosts. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to a busy landing spot, where Eddy met us to take us via boat out to the lodge. The Uro community asks for a very modest S/. 5 per-person fee to help defray the impact of tourism. The floating island of the lodge was reasonably isolated and was surrounded at all times by an incredible diversity of waterfowl. We had three meals while there, from lunch to breakfast the next day, all of which were delicious. The view from the lodge out across the mountains, water channels, and the seemingly endless sea of reeds was spectacular and our stay, although brief, was one of the most memorable and worthwhile events of our time in Peru!

Our group of 4 loved our stay at this lodge on 10/1/23! It was clean, warm and above all the staff were amazing and treated us like family. The food was delicious and so was the wine and tea. Our bed had plenty of blankets that kept us warm and the water bottles they put in your bed at night just added to the coziness. The sunset was beautiful, at dusk many birds & ducks were flying around that were entertaining to watch & listen to. We were able to take the canoe out ourselves the following morning so I could spread my sons cremains on Lake Titicaca. The morning fog rising from the lake was beautiful and the sun popped out right afterwards. I'd definitely recommend this lodge to everyone!

I think it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! There are 3 houses on a floating island, owned by a father and a son. They are extremely nice people! The price is ridiculously small for what they offer. The view from the huge windows of the house is amazing, and so is the stay on the floating terrace.

Cesar and his family are extremely welcoming hosts, keen to share as much about the local culture while also making sure you enjoy your privacy. The food, hospitality and help finding our way there and onwards after leaving have made it our favourite experience in Peru so far. This lodge sits on its own, far from any neighbouring lodges, and this has a truly breathtaking effect. We had a really peaceful couple nights.

The bedroom with the heater and the amazing view on the lake, I can recommend 1000% The food is really good too, really typical, I said I was vegetarian and they immediately adapted something for me, really nice of them ! If you are looking for a calm, relaxing, authentic place to stay, away from very touristics islands, please go stay at Cesar and Lucia’s lodges.
