This is a hidden gem at the bottom of the Colca canyon. Just skip staying in Sangalle and redirect your hiking route so you can stay at Colibri Lodge, you will not regret it. The place is very clean, beautifully made, our host Miguel moved heaven and earth to accomodate us and the food was just delicious. The value for money is ridicilously good. The quality is beyond comparison with other lodges in the Colca Canyon.

Bed was really comfortable. Nice garden by the pool. Great location. Very friendly staff. Lunch was great! Soup and chicken filet ( excellent chicken!)

After trekking 11h we were looking forward to jump into the pool and eat. Pool was really nice: don't understand the other reviews. Dinner was vegetarian and was around 20 soles. Breakfast at 5am with loooots of carbs Room was OK, hot water, clean, towels, good wifi.

The staff were so so friendly and we had access to hot springs which were a real treat after a hike! Also beautiful views.

Location and how cool it was to have a hot spring next to the river. The staff was very sweet, the mother hugged us as we left it was so cute.
