The location is very scenic. To wake up to a sunrise over mountain ranges and the fields across from the lodge was a great experience. There was only one other family at the lodge on the night that we stayed, so we pretty much had the entire house for ourselves. The house was very well maintained. The library, kitchen, patio, the room, everything was just perfect. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and cheese and fruits platter. They gave us great information about the area. The lodge was very clean and warm with a lovely sunny deck and fire roaring in the reception area. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to give us a car park to ensure security for our mountain bikes.

I had a room with my own kitchenette and bathroom that is well worth the few dollars more I paid for that ease. It's a fabulous, cost-effective option over other types of accommodations.
