Nature Glow Cottage, lodge a Udawalawe

Offering river views, Nature Glow Cottage in Udawalawe offers accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

We hardly ever score 10 out of 10, but these owners were (it has been mentioned before) very lovely, attentive and great fun to talk to. And then we didn't even mention the great cooking they did and the chance we had to join them in the kitchen! We were unlucky to only have one night. Besides from this, the spacious room and facilities are in a great shape: good shower, good airco, nice beds, a great balcony with (yes, there is only place for one ... 😉) very comfy chair! And the location, in the middle of their own piece of jungle .. Just lovely! We forgot something when we left, but they immediately called and he even brought it with his motorcycle to the car we were in ... All the service. So very much recommended. They have only two rooms, so you are lucky if you can book here.

We stayed 2 nights in this village jungle oasis among coconut trees, at this super friendly family. Great location, a bit off the beaten path but very comfortable, great huge bed, no mosquitos. Super shower! Our hosts cooked great food for us, we got the best breakfast during our 3week stay in Sri Lanka. We also went on a super full day safari with Sujee, was a highlight of our trip, saw many elephants!

With Udawalawe National Park reachable in 14 km, Lizard Safari Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a bar.

Best Safari guide ever, Nandu (guide and owner of the property) was very nice and calm. Drove us to a lunch place and took us back so we don't have to walk in the heat. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Owner showed us many different animals that we never seen before, very interesting experience. The dinner family made was delicious also.

    L'hotel és excel·lent per relaxar-s'hi uns dies, també està molt a prop dels safaris de Uda Walawe. La piscina és molt tranquil·la i el restaurant també està molt bé. La zona del hotel és enorme, ideal com a zona d'esbarjo.

    Vam estar de passada, ja que baixavem cap al sud i ens va semblar un bon hotel per pasar-hi la nit. La banyera i la dutxa al pati està molt bé. L'habitació es àmplia i neta. El propietari ens va oferir de tot i molt amable. Es un bon lloc si es vol parar a fer un safari al parc nacional que hi ha al costat.
