It was a very short 5 minute walk to the center but was in a quiet street away from the noise. The rooms were very quiet and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and plentiful. Jenny was absolutely amazing. One of the kindest and most helpful hosts I’ve met in Vietnam. She booked an overnight cruise in Lan Ha bay for me as well as a half day trip to Cat Ba National park. If you are in cat ba I highly recommend this place!!

Wonderful family-run establishment with some of the best home cooked food in all of Vietnam. Friendly and helpful host with great English as well. It’s a bit out of town but it’s well worth it for its “country side” ambience. It’s also only 15 min scooter ride in to town and 6 min to Cat Ba National Park. He is very fluent in english, super friendly and amazingly helpful. The hotel helped us organize our schedule to be able to enjoy everything to the max, including a full day boat tour (highly recommended!!) and a visit to Cat Ba national park (also recommended!).

I would stay here again because the town is very busy with tourists and chaotic. if you rent a scooter from the property, it is much better. Cat Ba National park is close by as well as the town.
