We loved that Des Moines as a city was very clean and felt safe. My boyfriend and I are from Minnesota. Ironically, the same comedian was in Minneapolis the night before. As crime has become out of control in Minneapolis, we actually decided to make the drive to Iowa instead. Thank you to Hilton and the city of Des Moines for making our trip so enjoyable!
