Must do while in savanna!
Must do while in savanna! Great art in galleries, interesting and unique shops, great places to eat and drink! Don't miss Byrds cookies(free samples! ) so yummy. Vinnie Van Gogos pizza was best ever... the line was crazy but we ordered one to go with our drinks and ate it across the street in the beautiful square! Perfect

The location couldn’t be better. Surrounded by restaurants and shopping, short walk to City Market and Riverwalk. I like the idea of staying in a historical bldg, and I would’ve loved to hear the history of it. Saw tour groups stopping and talking about it across the street but no info was offered to the actual guests of the hotel, which I thought was odd! Guest services is great and so helpful.
The location was perfect as far as distance to River Street and the City Market, that being said, we were up at night listening to loud music and sirens. But that is part of staying in the city! It was nice to be able to stop in our room whenever we needed to because we were so close to everything! However, I think next time I would choose to stay not so close to the bars and nightlife just to be able to sleep at night!
You cannot beat the location. You are close to some of the city’s best restaurants, you are within walking distance of Bay Steet and City Market. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly and professional.
We loved staying close to Forsyth Park and many local bars and restaurants. We were away from the hustle and bustle of the city market and river market area which we enjoyed. The history of the Eliza Thompson House is fascinating. Our bed was super comfortable too! Every evening we went to the "parlor" and spent time with other travelers - chatting and enjoying hors d'oeuvers and wine. It was such fun and we would stay here again!
The hotel was the perfect location to enjoy the city. Walking distance to everything, even our trolley tours. River Walk, City Market, all right there!
I loved the location. Just up the steps from the River Street district but within a few blocks of the other areas like the City Market and many shops and restaurants.
The location is perfect. We've been going to savannah for over 25 years and this is the best location we've ever stayed before. It's close to downtown, waterfront, city market, parks, restaurants, etc. The staff was exceptional. Always someone there with an answer and the most polite and nicest staff ever. Beds were comfortable, Wi-Fi was great. It's very quiet for an old Inn. I wasn't expecting that.
