Take a walk around the backsteets of Thongsala and this tourist town soon becomes a working Thai centre. After three separate visits to Koh Phangan, w've come to love Thongsala. We stay at Pink Homes when we land here, with their great value rooms, set back from the street, and their fab iced coffee, served in the cool airy cafe opposite. Thongsala is a place that grows on you. The food at the food market is great, cheap and makes for a fun night out. Its a great place to base yourself initially before heading off into the island. The place in Thong Sala makes it super convenient without being on a super busy street. The vibe at the hotel is calm and relaxed. Staff is very friendly and service is quick at the pool. Rooms are spacious, the shower was good, and the resort itself is nice. The restaurant is more expensive than the surrounding restaurants but the food is quite good.

Greeted by the lovely friendly owner upon check in! Shes fantastic and charming. The place reminded me of a guest house from years past, which is a great thing. I had a private room it was beautifully designed and most of all spotlessly clean something which I was looking for. Be aware the toilet is shared but that was a non issue for me as it was right next to my room and was always available.DarraghIreland

Beach was very quiet, usually just couple of people around. Very good food in restaurant and great drinks in a night bar. Close to Thong Sala main street. Lovely quiet beach, prefect sunsets from the hammocks and tree swings. One of my favourite places ever. Nopp the owner is so nice and will help you in anyway that he can. He has mopeds available at a good price, all reliable and looked after well. He can even book boat tickets etc. Great location, short walk to the food markets and bars of Thong Sala. You can store your food in the refrigerator and make yourself tea/coffee, but since there are lots of restaurants near by, you have that covered. It was nice an quiet, beds were comfortable, AC was working nicely, towels were provided. I really enjoyed my time there and would go back :)LisetEstonia

The tennis court made available my license to be able to replay a sport that I really like with a professional who allowed me to learn the basics. The team is really nice and perfect.
