Website says restaurant opens at 6 pm but gates not open till 6:15pm. Showed this online info to gate staff but they just looked confused and had no comment. Food selections inside not that great - suggest you eat before come. Asked for a napkin and told it would be an extra charge.(What????) There was a stampede of guests to restaurant once gates opened. Tour of animals by tram interesting but unfortunately, not as exciting as my expectations from the website's promotional materials :( . Sadly, we were somewhat disappointed overall. A very good experience after a very long day at the zoo.
A very good experience after a very long day at the zoo. It was nice to see night creatures in action, such as the binturongs. The visit was done after visiting River wonders and Singapore zoo, so we were tired (We clocked close to 30,000 steps that day!) The train visit is well worth it and is probably better towards the end of your visit as there are less visitors so the queue is shorter. The show needs to be pre-booked and left us underwhelmed. We struggled to find a grab at the end of the night and ended up paying an awful lot of money for a Special grab back to our hotel.ArnaudMalaysia - 10Scored 10

Be sure to arrive early to go on the tram as there is a night show at 8.30 pm, try to sit up the front. This is an amazing show and the staff are very passionate about the treatment of their and the worlds wildlife. After seeing the show do make sure to get your arm stamped so that you can do the fishing cat trail, it's just awesome!

Take the night safari with the tram ride . At the end of the day you would have done a lot of walking and be quite tired . Also the trams have a running commentary which is very helpful to understand the animal and their habitat . Very good must do
