今はひっそりとした小さな集落ですが、街が形成された昔に想いを馳せながら巡ると面白いと思います。もともとはこちらがルレオの街の中心でした。この付近の土地は毎年1 cm程度ずつ隆起を続けています。逆に言えばその昔はもっと低い土地だったわけで、一帯は島だったとのことです。教会は要塞の機能を兼ねており、建設当時は窓はずっと小さかったそうです。
