Superb especially to visitors who seek Historic places.
Superb especially to visitors who seek Historic places. Its full of interesting niches. The location gives a 360 breathless view of the island. The history around it, the museums, the cathedral, the new restoration of the bastions surrounding it. And for a break one can stop in local shops for a delicious ftira ( gozo bread ) or a cool frash drink on the bastions. Great experience

Don't visit in mid-day on a hot day - very very hot.
Don't visit in mid-day on a hot day - very very hot. I suggest to visit first thing in the morning or after 4 pm. Restaurant on top of the ruins is horrible. The man running it is a nasty person who lacks customer service skills.

The breakfast was delicious and he had great recommendations for restaurants & things to do. The bed was super comfortable & it was great to have a little balcony. Perfect location too - close to the bus station,the Cittadella, and restaurants!

Giancarlo as a person was also an excellent host with impeccable knowledge of eateries and walking routes around Gozo.
