This is a hidden gem.
This is a hidden gem. We were there towards the closing time so we did not run into the tour bus riders and the place was tranquil--there's a parking lot for tour buses. The front attendant asked for few minutes of our time (I groaned about it, but it was invaluable). She gave us tips on how to look at the Bonsai (BunJae in Korean) trees and the care involved in pruning them to make it the way they look. This place exuded tranquility. If I return to Jeju Island again, I would go back to this place. The coffee shop inside the garden has great neat furniture and very pricey gift items (we did not buy the gift shop items), but did enjoy a very nice tea and coffee. It's a great place to just take a break.
