Stunningly beautiful and scenic!
Stunningly beautiful and scenic! If you want a more relaxed atmosphere, I'd recommend hitting the beach in the morning or late afternoon. Also, don't go for the main beach area right by the pier: walk farther west to the smaller beach. It's just as lovely, with a lot less families and crowds. The lifeguards can be pretty strict, so make sure you stay within the ropes, but there's more than enough room to swim and float if you avoid the peak times.
