It is the biggest room we've ever had in Japan. It had the style of a luxury hotel but at a bargain price. Great beds, great views and a very convenient location connected to Yamagata Station concourse and a pedestrian overpass to the centre of Yamagata City. Perfect base for buses and trains to Kaminoyama Onsen, Zao Onsen, Mt Zao Ropeway, Okama Crater, Omoshiroyama Gorge, and Yamadera Shrine.
