The place was very clean and quiet. very close to tourist spots and the owners were very welcoming and nice.

宿主のご夫婦の人柄と気配りがいいですね。ホテルや旅館のマニュアル通りの対応ではない良さがあります。いたるところにもてなしの配慮がされており、キッチンや冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、洗濯機など長期滞在にも対応できます。また泊まりたいのであまり知られたくないほどです。窓からは隣りのお寺の山門が見えて京都らしさが感じられ、早朝に頂いたおさんぽマップで哲学の小径を通り、南禅寺から平安神宮の周遊コースを歩きました。朝一番8時半からの平安神宮の神苑は人が少なく良かったです。近くのバスは頻繁に出ています。お値段も格安で言うことなし。

Same as photos. If you have seen it in a photo then you have seen it. Nothing else there that isn’t better or bigger or less crowds than here. Plus it’s so far out of the city and away from public transport it is inconvenient to travel to and the bus is always crowded. This temple might not be the Golden Temple, but it has is...
This temple might not be the Golden Temple, but it has is own beauty. The gardens are beautiful and you should take a solid hour, hour and a half to enjoy them properly. It's a quiet place where you can find hidden statues, spots and native animals. Depending on the season, you'll get a different view of the garden and that itself is pure magic. There are some local shops outside the temple that deserve a visit.
