The entrance was on a small beautiful plaza, adjacent to Piazza delle Erbe. The Lamberti Tower is right next to the hotel. There was a beautifully decorated Christmas market going on selling all kinds of yummy food and sweets. We had a balcony overlooking Piazza delle Erbe with a beautiful view. I liked that we could enter the hotel with a door code, so we were able to arrive late the first night without having to check in with staff. This was very convenient. The room itself was very nice too.

It was very hot when we were in Verona but the A/C kept the place comfortably cool. We also found it wonderfully quiet and quite private, since it was down a small pedestrian side street with no one walking by outside.

The hotel staff (most notably Riccardo at the front desk) were incredibly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the full breakfast made to order every morning on the lovely terrace overlooking Piazza delle Erbe and even had a bottle of wine on the terrace at night, after a full day exploring Verona.
