Stay there instead of in Rome. SO CLOSE to AIRPORT! I stayed at a BNB. The owner drove me to airport the next morning! less than 15 minute drive. WOW. PS: The ruins are amazing AND a short Metro ride to all the sights in Rome, too!

A grocery store and coffee shops within short walking distance. The apartment had 2 rooms with all essentials we needed. Full kitchen with tea, coffee, sugar, salt, olive oil and sweet treats for kids. Parking is onside, washing machine. The host, Valentina, provided all detailed information we needed to get to the property with pictures and codes. We would definitely come back!

The host, Luca, was great. He provided us with a summary of history of Ostia Antica, offered restaurant recommendations, and in the midst of a taxi strike, personally drove us to the airport to make sure we caught our flight. The apartment was within an easy walking distance to the archeological park of Ostia Antica. Nearby shops and restaurants were also convenient. We did find parking a bit difficult, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed out stay. While we did not meet Federica, she quickly responded to all of our email queries and provided us with helpful information about the area.GambinoUnited States of America

Ostia Antica was amazing so plan to spend some time there. The host was always responsive and kindly arranged for transport for us to the airport the next morning.
