Unfortunately, Ashford Castle is closed to non-guests due to COVID, but last time I visited Cong, I dined at The Dungeon, and it was absolutely excellent. The hotel itself is really neat and fund to explore, as is the grounds. I hope it opens up again to the larger public.

Ashford Castle is beautiful and if you are staying at the Lodge, you are given tickets to enable you to enter the Castle grounds to look around. However, you can only enter the Castle itself if you are a guest there.
