Worth planning to spend all day on the SVR.
Worth planning to spend all day on the SVR. The workshops at Bridgnorth are well worth a visit. By the time you've stopped off at a couple of stations to look around and wait for the next train, the day has gone surprisingly fast.

Absolutely brilliant.
Absolutely brilliant. Get there early to explore a station and take unimpeded photographs, especially if you are in to railway modelling. Take advantage of the breakfasts/food at the different stations. Plan your day using the Severn Valley Railway website.

The rooms are always spot on and I love the choice available for breakfast. Parking is available nearby at Bewdley Severn Valley Railway station for £4 per 24 hours. I have already made my next booking at the Severn Valley Guest House.
