I can't believe the difference it makes to one of Shakespeare's plays to see it performed at the RST! It's a beautiful theatre, with tons of atmosphere, and makes the plays come alive. One tip is to book (cheaper) seats at the side, in the circle, and the visibility is very good indeed.

    Stages Shakespeare’s major plays.

Stages Shakespeare’s major plays. Quite good at big productions to suit a wider audience. Often big names. Good theatre, shop and refreshments. Big new tower to visit, and restaurant. Often have exhibitions. Good to go to any restaurant before or after a play.

We saw a play in The Swan theatre the seating must have been designed by someone who had no idea what a human looked like .it was torture no leg room at all. We were in the circle front row , you could only see half the stage. Back rows were better we changed half way through.

Wonderful show (Taming of the Shrew) - and interesting tour. Beautiful building. Somewhat pricey. Shows sad face - but the emojis don't appear on my screen - so not sure if I pressed this by mistake! - please ignore!

Staff at booking office very helpful.

Staff at booking office very helpful. Gift shop usually stocks merchandise for all ages. Non-breakable "glasses' provided for drinks if they have to be taken into auditorium. Theatre staff also most pleasant. Handbag searches take place and larger bags must be deposited into safe storage.

It was a fabulous room: spacious, well appointed and luxurious. I loved the little touches of apples, beautiful bathrobes and a good range of hot drinks…and it was just a minute’s walk from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre which, on a rainy night, was most welcome.

The location was right in the midst of everything which was great because we had an evening at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Our breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and our room was fantastic and was situated along a long creaky uneven hallway, great.

The location was excellent for our purposes - visiting the Royal Shakespeare Theatres and the town generally - all a short walk away. There was a folder containing clear information about the studio and the owner/manager phoned to make sure we had all the information we needed before arriving. A neat touch. Although there was no car parking on site - it's a scarce commodity in Stratford-on-Avon - a variety of car parks were available within a few minutes walk from the property and prices were reasonable.

A comfortable room with good facilities and a very good breakfast. The Staff throughout the hotel were excellent, attentive and eager to please. Location of the hotel was perfect, opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, this being the reason for our visit.

The room was lovely - spacious and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price and was delicious, with a large choice. We chose the hotel partly for its location - just opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, couldn't have been better
