    Lovely.

Lovely. I had great interest in this castle, since Queen Elizabeth lived there as a child, etc. The grounds are beautiful. We were able to attend a round of the Highland Games on the grounds of this famous castle. A wonderful experience.

Ian was the best host. It was like visiting a good friend. Large bedroom with great ensuite. Lovely lounge room for guests to use. Great view from the breakfast room. Amazing breakfast, even got me black pudding when I requested it. Small fridge for guests to pop stuff into. As we’re traveling for a long time we had some washing and Ian was kind enough to let us use his machine!! It was warm and cosy. Not far from Glamis Castle.

Comfortable beds, clean and good facilities. excellent hosts. Really quiet private caravan site, well maintained with lovely surrounding scenery. Dog and child friendly! Perfect location for walkers/dog walks and family days out! Places we went to were soldiers leap (killiecrankie), queen's view, Glenclova/Glen doll, Glamis Castle and Brechin all within 1-1.5hr drive and well worth it for the views!

I liked especially the warm welcome from Bruce, the owner. He is a sprightly elder person, with a good and interesting conversation, giving a very home-y feeling to the overall stay. Breakfast was abundant. Not far from Glamis castle. Bedrooms are nice, clean and bright. Very comfortable. Nice little personal touches here and there.

The property was amazingly situated in the countryside. Equipped with modern amenities, warm and very cosy. It was pure escapism away from the hustle and bustle from city life. A delightful welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs, jam and butter. Plenty of opportunities to walk in the countryside, a number of interesting local attractions, Glamis Castle to visit and explore.

We checked-in a bit late, around 10pm but the host was excellent with communications and completely OK with this late of a check-in. When we arrived, he was gracious and chatty. The room we got was absolutely enormous and we were welcome to use the lounge too. We liked the host and appreciated the space and comfortable room. Zero complaints. Breakfast was a straight-forward Scottish affair, but also provided fresh cut fruit. The location to Glamis Castle was excellent. Highly recommend this B&B.
