Everything was excellent and far better than I would expect for the room rate.

Staff very friendly Restaurant and rooms comfortable

The hotel is in Llangollen town centre, looking out over the River Dee. It mixes original character with modern comforts, including free Wi-Fi, free parking and a riverside garden.

We were pleasantly surprised to have a 4 poster bed.

A 15-minute drive from Chester's historical centre, Grosvenor has a spa, a pool and a gym. Near the Welsh border, Grosvenor Pulford has free Wi-Fi, spacious rooms and beautiful grounds.

It was very posh and they had bath bombs and shower melts.

Breakfast was excellent, the staff absolutely excellent
