Plan on spending a full day at the castle.

Plan on spending a full day at the castle. Get there early to explore the main castle first to get amazing pictures without the crowds. Explore the underground caves. Don't miss the Dunkirk experience and hospital tour (no pictures allowed in either).

Traditional, quirky English seafront hotel. Fine food and drink and very comfortable rooms. Right on the seafront promenade and within 5 minutes walk of town centre. Exceptional Night staff Mayur and his professionalism. Hotel is Good for Dover Castle and White Cliffs visits. We'd use it again.

The guest house is located close to the Dover castle, seaside and the city centre. Our room was quite spacious, with a beamed ceiling, two beautiful windows with outside flower boxes and was furnished in the "old" style. The bed was excellent. We were warmly welcomed by the concierge John, who gave us a great introduction to the city's history.

Great location in town! Short walk from the train station and Dover Castle. Margaret is a gem. She made us feel so welcome, and provided great tips on things to do in the area. The room was clean and we enjoyed the fresh milk provided. Margaret's garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it in the evenings and morning.

In all my travels I have never had such a terrific experience in lodging. The room was quaint, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was not only more than expected but also very good. Staff was engaged and they made sure our stay met or exceeded our expectations. Location was great as it was walking distance to Dover Castle, shopping and restaurants. The best thing about the Hubert House was our hostess, Farrah. I have never seen anyone more concerned about the quality of our stay. Thank you.

This place was so much more than my wife and I could ever have imagined. We loved the location, just being down the hill from Dover castle and just a little ways from the beaches. We loved the room, it was picture perfect! Our host gave amazing recommendations and the breakfast was to die for. We will be recommending this place to everyone that we know will be in the area and we hope to be back soon.

Bev and Michael were very welcoming hosts! We really appreciated all of the food recommendations and top tips on the local attractions. The breakfast was absultely amazing and they accommodated so kindly for our varying dietary needs. The location was great. Walkable distance from town center, train stations, Dover castle, and White Cliffs of Dover for my partner and eye! The room was so cute and well put together! If we ever find ourselves in Dover again, I would love to stay with Bev adn Michael!

Room was simple but comfortable. We arrived late because of traffic issues so we didn't get to see much of the town around the hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking was nice since it was just in front of the hotel. Very close to Dover castle which we ended up visiting.
