Very nice location. Gardens were really beautiful and the tour inside the house was nice, the staff friendly and knowledgable. We were surprised by how many people were actually there. Well worth a visit.

Check first whether the refurbishment work going on at present will prevent you seeing the house or any part of the grounds. Although the house was closed when we went in May 2019 the grounds were well worth a visit and we were able to do a guided tour of the "understairs" part of the house which was very interesting.
