Perfect Location.
Perfect Location. Near to the train station, cable car and restaurants. Rooms are very nostalgic and view view are incredible. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Food in the in house restaurant is also great.

Amazingly picturesque area, probably one of the most beautiful valleys on the planet. When there has been some decent rain in the area the Staubbach Falls are truly magnificent along with many other waterfalls in the Lauterbrunnen valley. You can walk up to and just about under the falls. The climb is not too exerting and can be managed easily. Keep watch for base jumpers as the area is famous for this sport. Recommend a visit to this area, you will not be disappointed.

Definitely walk all the way up as far as the trail let’s y to experience the falls, caverns, and the view. Not to be missed! The price is right-free! And there are even hiking stick to use. There are months when this trail is closed.

The 3 bedroom apartment could easily house 10 people. But there were only 3 of us. Host was not local but able to be reached and respond very quickly to our needs. We were also welcomed with a bottle of local beer and chocolate. We truly enjoyed our one night stay. Place was very clean, and everything we need.

Room is spacious, bed is comfy, great view when we open the window, cozy room with local feel (Swiss typical furnish), we fall in love with the room (We booked Twin Room with Shower) 3. The location is perfect, close to the train station or a short bus ride to the life to Gimmelwald/Mürren. Walking distance to all the restaurants. We also had a fantastic view of Staubbach Falls from our window! Carol the manager was amazing! She gave us great recommendations for rainy days and let us borrow her hiking sticks. Quiet location yet close to Trummelbach Falls, Staubbach Falls, the Schilhtorn and about a 10 min or so walk to restaurants and shopping. The host provided a wealth of helpful information about the area and instructions well in advance so that collecting the key was a breeze. Well-equipped apartment with everything available that you could possibly need. The garage was a tight fit for our vehicle but we easily found alternative parking.EvanGermany
