If you want one of the EASIEST places to visit from...
If you want one of the EASIEST places to visit from Interlaken, this is the place. It has AMAZING VIEWS of 2 different lakes and 3 small villages with mountains all around. I was in AWE and I have been to Junfraujoch, Titlis, Rigi and Gornergrat. Really loved how easy it was to just take funicular right from town. It's right behind the Beau Rivage Hotel. That hotel was also kind enough to hold our luggage while we went up the mountain....unbelievable service...with no charge (we just tipped). I went there TWICE during an overnight stay....just could not get over the views.

A wonderful view of the Interlaken area. We dined in the twilight of the day to see the setting sunshine reflect on the mountains and the dozens of parasails glide below us. Getting up via train did not accept Swiss Travel Pass.

Extraordinary views all around the top. Lunch was lovely - with great views. Go early in the morning (8.30am in June) to miss crowds. Plenty of wild flowers in bloom. Fantastic photos - it was a clear, warm day.KerrenAustralia

The room we stayed in was newly remodeled and had a great full shower, and we had a view of Harder Kulm from our little balcony. Very clean facilities and loved that I had a cabinet in the room that I could lock with my keycard. Breakfast is typical hostel fare with coffee, bread, cheese, cereal, yogurt, and juice. The women's bathroom on the second floor has a stall that is right next to the window and you can see the river and the Harderbahn and Harder Kulm above! What a place to go to the bathroom!

Just a few minutes from the train station Interlaken Ost which takes you everywhere and a couple min to walk to the Harder Kulm cable car. Not noisy at all! We had a room facing the Japanese pond. The hotel and room were clean. The service staff was kind and helpful when we needed changes to the pillows and cover. Food from the restaurant was good!
