An excellent cute old fashioned hotel in well preserved condition. A dining hall where all guests had their own seats and a buffet dinner in high quality style was being served. Situated next to Storsjön Lake, this inn is less than 2 km from central Forsbacka and 15 minutes’ drive from Sandviken. It offers a restaurant with a bar and furnished terrace. Historic building. Nice older but good room with double doors, water cooker, new private bathroom. For me the bed was comfortable. Good continental buffet breakfast. Very friendly and helpful host who gave me information about the Astrid Lindgren movie "Madicken/Madita" which was partly made there. Possiblity to have a great daily lunch in the restaurant which I tested another stay before and which gave a feeling of this movie.
