Ideally located in the centre of Kyoto, Kokonoe Machiya offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The perfect stay! The place is wonderful and looks as a typical Japanese house. The owners are incredibly kind, they welcomed me in the best way ever, explaining me everything about the stay and giving me tips about the city of Kyoto. They can speak many languages as Japanese, English, Italian, Spanish and probably more so the communication wouldn’t be a problem for you. The hotel is located in a very quite are of the city just outside the city-center so perfect to sleep in a white place but also well connected with the touristic areas with buses. The common area is just amazing, about cleaning is perfect and the structure is very technological! If I’ll be back to Kyoto, sure I’ll stay here again, I recommend 100%. Everything from the point we got there to the minute we left hit the WOW factor! Staff/owners are so friendly, we truly felt welcomed. Breakfast each morning was a treat, I've eaten and worked in high-end restaurants and can honestly say the effort and flavour that was put into each meal, just breakfast was incredible. The rEverythingooms and decor was beautiful, rustic but still spotless not even a scruff mark on a wall. If you get a chance to stay here you will be amazed at every detail! Location was also great, 15 minute walk to city and 15 minute walk to kyoto station.

Offering air-conditioned rooms in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, situated between Kamogawa River and Takase canal, Hazuki Kyoto is 20 minutes stroll from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion District. English communication is good. The room is big and beautiful. There is a washing machine. Very nice personal, the owner is so kind asking whether we will need a ride to the Kyoto train station. The tatami + floor heating + Japanese floor mat is so comfortable even in winter! I really enjoy the shared bathing. (You still bath privately, no worry.)

Conveniently situated in the centre of Kyoto, 京ﾉ家 五条西洞院 provides free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. This house was extremely clean, comfortable, and in a quiet and safe area close to the train station. It is only a 2 min walk to a grocery store and 3 min walk to Family Mart. Hori, the owner, was the best! She provided everything that we needed and was very responsive prior and during our stay. The house has 4 toilets, 2 showers, and a washing machine with drying function. The house is very well taken care of. Everythjng is new and worked perfectly. Thank you, Hori!!!

This place is awesome. Very clean. Has everything you want in the room (fridge, microwave, teapot, tea, coffee), you also have your own washroom with a bathtub. They have an air purifier and AC. Everything was perfect here, loved this place!
