Roomy, clean, comfortable beds, opening windows with cushioned seats in them, and an exceptional bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities that included fresh coffee and a press, as well as a thermos with milk. Very friendly people, good food, although, due to a busy Sunday the Cheeseburger was sold out, but that always makes me happy as they then do not come out of a freezer. Breakfast was perfect. Many choices, even up to a Bloody Mary if you are in need of one :-) Location right next to a road (hey, it is an inn...), ample parking and very close to Stourhead House. Also an easy couple of hours from Dover which makes it a nice target for your first or last night in Britain.

The people and the service are amazing, 10+ out of 10. Not only did they help get our luggage up the stairs, they found umbrellas for us to use on our outings and were there at every turn for anything we might need. The bar staff are super friendly and the cook was amazing. Breakfast is the best I've had, and there were several menu items to choose from. We stayed in the small apartment and really enjoyed having a separate area to watch TV and relax. All in all, we loved our stay here. We would like to return again some day and spend more time with these wonderful people. They truly are the best! ❤️

The Pear Tree Inn is situated just 20 minutes' drive away from Bath, less than 10 minutes' drive from the National Trust village of Lacock and the market town of Bradford on Avon. The place is so pretty, the staff so friendly, spotlessly clean and staff working hard to keep it that way. the food was also excellent. We stayed in the Anjou room and can recommend it.

Just a 15-minute drive from Stonehenge, The Pembroke Arms offers a restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is situated in the Wilton Estate, and Salisbury can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Loved the little touches!! Fresh brownies on arrival and a warm welcome from the Manager Jon on arrival. Beautiful products from Land & Water. Lovely fresh linen and a cozy room with delicious fresh coffee for the morning…fabulous breakfast options!! Brilliant restaurant & yummy food!
