We stayed in Room 5. Beautifully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, a fabulous nights sleep and breakfast was exceptional (Compliments to the Chef!!). Daryl was very welcoming, as were the front house staff through to housekeeping. You will not be disappointed when you stay here!

Ten miles from Newcastle, The Bowes Incline Hotel offers en suite rooms and a 100-seat restaurant. Rooms are well equipped with TV, free Wi-Fi and coffee and tea-making facilities. The staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Mark was exceptional. The food was fantastic, could have managed smaller portions!!

With panoramic views of beautiful countryside, the Ravensworth Arms Hotel is a charming pub with bright, traditional rooms. What a great place to stay! A room just above the pub, with a lot of space for 3 people and a modern bathroom. The pub is huge but because it is separated into little areas it is still cosy. We spent hours in there due to the bad weather. And besides all they have good food as well.

The food is wonderful, traditional yet touch of gourmet - really good. Our room was clean, light and airy, all one needs after a day of hiking !! The Ship Inn is lovely set in the centre of a beautiful English village,

The owner who greeted me was lovely and welcoming. It is in a good location to get to the co-op nearby and other restaurants. The room was quite big and the bathroom was immaculate. The bathroom was also quite spacious which I wasn’t expecting. Finally, the kitchen was large and easy to make food in. After trekking on the wall, this inn was a welcomed relief.
