We tried our first oatcake ever for breakfast from Poveys, who are across the road. Brilliant 360° view from Mow Cop Folly, which is not far away. Lovely friendly people.

Within the tranquil village of Brewood, this 18th-century, Grade II listed hotel provides sleek and light room with LCD TVs. Lovely pretty location, nice bar and restaurant area. Decor and bedroom was stunning. Helpful staff.

The Globe Inn has en suite rooms, free Wi-Fi, and breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. You can enjoy a mix of traditional and unique dishes at the Globe Inn, where there is also free parking. Clean room, large comfortable bed and the staff were great.

Nastanitev Devonshire Arms se nahaja v mestu Hartington in ima vrt, skupni prostor za druženje, teraso ter bar. The room was stunning. Our view was onto another building but it wasn't about that, the design, facilities and comfort of the room were stunning, we were blown away. The small touches like the dog bowls (even though we didn't have a dog with us, we are dog lovers and noticed them), the power show (wow!), the bed, just everything :)

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The White Hart Apartment Church View offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Really lovely room in a beautiful location, great bath/shower and perfect for Alton Towers. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Situated in the small market town of Cheadle, The Huntsman is a country pub and restaurant 16 minutes’ drive from Alton Towers Theme Park. Food was stunningly tasty. Not much choice, but that didn't matter.

Set in a 17th-century building with original fireplaces and oak beams, The Littleton Arms serves local produce on a seasonal menu in its restaurant. The staff were lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was fabulous.
