Staff incredibly nice and super hosts, dinner in the restaurant was fabulous well above pub faire standard. Breakfast was wonderful and could not fault anything. The one thing for improvement is that on warm evenings the hotels advice is to not have the windows open due to river flies. When that is the case the fan is not really adequate and the aircon that is fitted should be made operational in the summer months. Will now be our go to hotel when we visit family in Nottingham, thouroughly recommend.
Food excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor seating area
Room very clean . a marvellous period property decorated lovely. Breakfast choice excellent lovely Italian meats ,cereals fruit etc and homemade delicious cake. Good quality coffee. Dinner extensive choice freshly cooked hot food . Service was warm and friendly.
Loved how dog friendly this hotel was, very uncommon for an inner city 4* hotel and my little dog Cleo was made to feel very welcome. Staff we helpful and the room was great.
Friendly staff. They would offer you any help that you may need. Prompt efforts in making you comfortable. Wonderful staff. Comfortable beds. Dinner was awesome.
Nice Chicken dinner, although the restaurant was a bit dark and I was trying to read. Good coconut ice cream. Breakfast was busy, good food but I found sausages and bacon not overly tasty, fresh fruit good. Variety of bread was a bit disappointing. Free coffee voucher was a nice touch.
Dinner was excellent
The location is peaceful but with easy access to the motorway. Breakfast was very good and Dinner was very nice. Staff were very attentive and helpful as my husband has allergies
We arrived after a walk, the room was ready earlier than we were expected, clean and well appointed. We had an amazing lunch, highly recommend the rustic lunch, great value for money, and absolutely delicious. We also had dinner, again, amazing food, and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. We will revisit!
