St Ouen's
The Prince of Wales overlooks the beach of Greve de Lecq, one of Jersey's most beautiful bays, with its sandy beach and wonderful views over Sark and the nearby French coast.
The Prince has been refurbished to a high standard, and has a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. You can dine on freshly caught seafood in the popular hotel restaurant, overlooking the beach and sea. A bar is also available on the premises.
We wanted a quiet couple of days on Jersey before joining a tour so I chose a seaside spot well away from St Helier. The taxi driver who took us there told us, "There is nothing there!" He was wrong. We love being outdoors- the weather was perfect. We had a brilliant view from our room. The hotel was old and interesting. We took the spectacular clifftop walk to fabulous Plémont beach (found the giant puffin statues by accident - wow) on the 1st day and went on a longer but easier walk high on the cliffs to Devil's Hole the next. Lovely lunch at the inn there. Wildflowers everywhere.

Staff were lovely - friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. The location was perfect and everything was clean.
Location is great, edge of town, set back from road so zero road noise. Unit is a good size and solid build. (No paper thin walls). Sofa bed turned out to be a proper double bed which folded against the wall. A nice surprise and less hassle than a sofa bed. Sofas were comfortable and excellent condition. Kitchen was well stocked except only 1 oven shelf!! Not great when we had guests and were cooking dinner for 5.
One night over night stay (we live in Jersey). Great , good size rooms and comfy. Nice decor. Complimentary bits in the room. Great for a one night stay and dinner/cocktails in the restaurant. Also just to note that as this is a restaurant, not a hotel, the reception isn’t monitored for 24 hours and if you leave after they close you have to use an alternative route to get back in through a side door into the basement. All very easy and not an issue but just a good note for anyone not from Jersey.
The hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. We ate dinner in the restaurant several times and all the food was superb.
Very professionally run hotel with excellent staff. The location is superb - we had a room with an ocean view and balcony and think this is a must to appreciate the amazing view. First class breakfast, dinner on The Terrace was lovely and had the great beach view. Indoor pool a real plus. Hotel has its own bus stop and you can easily reach Corbiere, Portelet and St Helier without bothering with taxis. Also much enjoyed the Beach Club next door.
Wonderful view across the harbour and bay, from both our room and the restaurant. Food delicious both for breakfast and dinner.
Reading reviews I was worried about staying at this hotel but it was more than we expected. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was of good quality . We had the buffet dinner on the Thursday and again tge food was very good, really good selection. Getting around the island we traveled by bus with the bus stop outside the hotel. £2.25 who can grumble at that price. We would not hesitate staying at the hotel again,
the breakfast and dinner was great loved the choice, the pool area and gardens are brilliant so relaxing and the staff are great and very friendly.
