The Cock Inn hotel is less than 1 mile from the M11 and 1.5 miles from Sawbridgeworth station which is just a 40 minute train journey to London and to Cambridge. Great character pub with excellent food and staff very helpful & friendly. Room was not large but was comfortable and what I'd expect for pub accommodation. Great value.

The hotel has a renowned Chef & Brewer restaurant, as well as meeting facilities for up to 14 people. Only reason we stayed at hotel waa due to Harry Potter musuem, but we were super happy about our choice to stay at Two Brewers. The area was wonderful. Felt comfortable & safe.

We were able to check in late and the staff were super helpful with getting there and checking in.

The lady who prepared our room went above and beyond. She really took the time to make sure we felt looked after. The pub was closed for an event for a few hours and she even came down to make sure we weren't hungry and offered us to have some food made up especially. I wish I'd asked her name as it's rare to get service like that these days! Beautiful room and location too. We will certainly be staying again!
