We slept like babies in the bed after a lovely meal in the restaurant and woke up refreshed before having showers to our next stop - will definitely recommend to everyone and eat/stay again. In the small village of Sheering, this family run Public House offers 12 en-suite bedrooms. The Cock Inn is a family run free house that has been run by the Bedford family for over 20 years. Amazing place, great people and hospitality, lovely breakfast. The personnel was very helpful, if you need to book a taxi and flexible so to stay in your room a little bit longer. We loved the vibe of this hotel. Overall, very clean and in the room you can fin everything you need, the hairdryer, iron even holy bible.

What a fantastic place, decor , facilities , food all to a very high standard. Lost of history dating back to 1500s. Floor tilting which all adds to the character. Shower room excellent to a very high standard. Food in the restaurant was amazing can’t wait to visit again. Great menu. Room very quiet, overlooking the church gardens.
