Featuring a bar and restaurant, The Ferry House Inn is situated on the Devon and Cornwall border. It offers free WiFi and rooms with views over the Tamar River and the Royal Albert Bridge. Location was great! Wonderful view. Nice to be a little out of the city, but still very easy to get to wherever you had planned for the day. Friendly staff, great dinner and breakfast.

Situated in Totnes, Hunters Lodge Inn features accommodation with a bar, free private parking and a garden. The accommodation offers free WiFi throughout the property. The room was lovely, spacious, and calm. The restaurant/pub was lively with locals, yet there was always space for us and our friends. Food was delicious--great pies, tasty fish, satisfying breakfast, and fine beverages (especially the Jail Ale). But the best part was the hosts: always welcoming and kind, flexible and attentive to details.

Set in the village of Broadclyst on the outskirts of Exeter, Red Lion provides a garden. Located around 7 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, the inn is also 6 km away from Westpoint Arena. Beautiful quiet pub. Staff fantastic. Plenty of free parking. Meals, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious. Room was a good size with large shower and plenty of hot water. Would definitely come back and I recommend this pub.

The staff was very welcoming and very flexible to access our requests (bikes storage, travel coat, …) The decor in the rooms and in the restaurants is very beautiful and well made, the food is absolutely excellent, for dinner and breakfast!

A very clean room with great facilities. Very friendly staff and great food and drink. Just around the back you can walk straight into a number of lovely walks.

Set in Newton Abbot, 7.7 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse, Dartmoor Halfway Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Really comfortable room. Nice decoration and very convenient for a stopover. Very generous tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom. We had a really nice breakfast and found it fair value.
