Located in Castleton, 16 km from Buxton Opera House, Bulls Head, Castleton provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. We loved our stay in Bulls head. The staff was very friendly, the room incredibly clean and the breakfast was nice to start our day with. Our dogs were welcome in the restaurant downstairs, and the food was very good as well! The location is a perfect starting point for beautiful hikes, particularly Mam Tor. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food , chef Mark is exceptional delivering a unique beautiful pub experience with food that is anything but a pub experience, excellent chef level food with a tasting menu along with the daily menu , truly a 5 star experience, if you enjoy a glass of beer try the Jute , refreshing and fruity We will be back again Mark thank you for providing such a wonderful experience to stay for a few days and visit with Family

Very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was amazing - the bacon is so good 😊, great bar and big selection of alcohol free beers and all the products in the bathroom smelled amazing - I have ordered some of the hand lotion!

There was no food served on the night we were there, but the staff let us bring a take away into the bar and let us eat it there. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated

L’habitació de bon tamany i llit còmode. El bany antic però net i correcte. El pub molt agradable amb bon menjar i bon servei. A mitja nit es va disparar l’alarma d’incendis donant-nos un gran ensurt. Va ser una falsa alarma i la van apagar però ningú ens va donar explicacions i ningú ens va demanar disculpes per l’ensurt terrible de que et desperti una alarma brutal. La ubicació és molt bona per excursions al peak District

Interesting historic building beautifully maintained and decorated. Lovely warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and a very comfortable and warm room. Altogether fully recommended.

Located in Dalbury Lees, 26 km from Alton Towers, The Cow Dalbury provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The room was beautifully clean, smart and comfy. Food at breakfast and both evening meals was delicious. A real treat. All staff were accommodating and friendly.

It is about 20 minutes from Bakewell and those 20 minutes are spent driving down country lanes...which I found to be a absolutely glorious. The space was clean and well maintained. The pub was charming. Everyone who worked there was lovely. Highly recommended this place.
