Typical Ticino-style Pensione Olanda is 1 km from the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church, and features garden and a terrace, furnished with deckchairs and offering panoramic views of Locarno and Lake... Having a shower stall and sink in the room was a bonus. Breakfast was included with the stay. The room had a veranda with a view of the lake.

Located in the centre of Tesserete, the family-run Ristorante Stazione is just 50 metres from Tesserete Train Station. Fantastic place. For sure simpler than a big name hotel but super friendly, clean and comfortable. For me it was the perfect place to stay in a beautiful area. Super happy.

Situated right at the lake promenade, only a few steps from the ship mooring and Locarno's Piazza Grande, the Al Pozz offers you superb views of Lake Maggiore. I loved the attention to detail and all the help with travelling from another country. I even got quick answers to questions before I arrived. ‘Great holiday destination, close to much dining.

Food was absolutely spectacular, a real treat, both, dinner and breakfast. Local products are delightful! Hosts are very warm and kind people. Rooms are very simple and clean. Views from rooms are outstanding. Hike was excellent! We will certainly come back!

Very nice place with beautiful view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything was super clean. The bus stop is near, so no problem to travel here without car. Some cookies, yogurts, coffee and tea for breakfast. I love this place :)

The great room with extended balcony with views of all mountains of the valley The great welcome and dinner we enjoyed outside!!! Home made products (marmelade, pizza, cakes) were delicious
