The location is amazing in the valley surrounded by nature. We did a wonderful hike from the Ostereis through the forest with many waterfalls and old stone villages. The staff treat you very well as the place is very small. The dinner in their restaurant was also delicious. The house is very old and charming.

Locanda Gandriese ligger i Gandria, under 26 km fra Mendrisio Station og 27 km fra Villa Carlotta. Eventhough we had rain, the view was amazing. The room was spacious and the workers were very nice. The food was awesome, we have really enjoyed ourselves. Gandria is very small and we enjoyed it a lot. It is also a great location for a dog.

Very nice place with beautiful view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything was super clean. The bus stop is near, so no problem to travel here without car. Some cookies, yogurts, coffee and tea for breakfast. I love this place :)

Denne typiske Ticinese-stenbygning ligger i landsbyen Anzonico og tilbyder restaurant med terrasse samt panoramaudsigt over Leventina-dalen. Der findes vandrestier blot få skridt derfra. Very cute room under the wooden roof in this small village on top of the hill. We had also a very nice dinner and brekfast at the hotel restaurant , prepared by Claudia and her husband. All local food, very tasty. Their pasta with vegetables is very special :-) You cannot reach the hotel directly with the car: you should park it in the parking lot just outside the village and walk the last 200 mt. Google would try to take you all the way there with the car, but it is not possible! At the parking lot you find a sign that indicates the direction to reach the Osteria. Make sure you have your mobile phone with you for some light in the parts of the walk where there is no public light.
