Having a shower stall and sink in the room was a bonus. Breakfast was included with the stay. The room had a veranda with a view of the lake.

Located in the centre of Tesserete, the family-run Ristorante Stazione is just 50 metres from Tesserete Train Station. Fantastic place. For sure simpler than a big name hotel but super friendly, clean and comfortable. For me it was the perfect place to stay in a beautiful area. Super happy.

The location is amazing in the valley surrounded by nature. We did a wonderful hike from the Ostereis through the forest with many waterfalls and old stone villages. The staff treat you very well as the place is very small. The dinner in their restaurant was also delicious. The house is very old and charming.

Locanda Gandriese is set in Gandria, within 26 km of Mendrisio Station and 27 km of Villa Carlotta. Eventhough we had rain, the view was amazing. The room was spacious and the workers were very nice. The food was awesome, we have really enjoyed ourselves. Gandria is very small and we enjoyed it a lot. It is also a great location for a dog.

Ristorante le bucce di Gandria is 5 km away from Lugano’s centre, offering free Wi-Fi and parking, and housing a restaurant with a terrace serving Mediterranean dishes. Very nice place with beautiful view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything was super clean. The bus stop is near, so no problem to travel here without car. Some cookies, yogurts, coffee and tea for breakfast. I love this place :)
