Gipfelrestaurant Fronalpstock is situated in Stoos, 1922 metres above sea level and next to the 4er Sesselbahn Fronalpstock and 6er Sesselbahn. The staff made you feel like the most important guest they have. Dinner was excellent and the included breakfast was impressive.

This traditional hotel is quietly located in the Muotha Valley, ideal for canoeing, hiking and motorcycling tours. Great valley off the main beaten tourist track in Switzerland. Great views, great local experience.

Overlooking Lake Lucerne, Gasthaus Tübli Gersau is a carefully renovated, historic guesthouse dating from 1767. It offers free WiFi. Perfect place, nice, calm, centrally located on the lake shore, with nice staff. Their cuisine is also very good, the boat station is a few minutes' walk away.

Set on the car-free Rigi Mountain, Hotel Rigi Klösterli can only be reached by cogwheel train. It features an on-site restaurant and free Wi-Fi in the lounge. It's a place where you can disconnect. Great in combination with a hiking trip. Affordable for 1 person. Nice and friendly staff. There is an antique quirkiness about the place: you are encouraged to wear wool slippers that they provide, urinals and faucets are new but old school (you need to turn handles not just lift). Close to many hiking trails and you can explore the Rigi area if based here.

Situated in Innerthal, 19 km from Einsiedeln Abbey, Fischers Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great place to stay. Quiet, away from town, the view is incredible. The staff lady was very friendly and helpful. Overall I will be coming back for sure!

Set in Hurden, 13 km from Einsiedeln Abbey, Gasthof Seefeld offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Very friendly and supporting staff more than ever, the restaurant in the hotel was extreamly good food as well here only friendly staff.
