Situated 7 km from Yackandandah in the small rural area of Allans Flat, Colonial Inn Guest Rooms has 2 large motel-style rooms and 1 fully self-contained apartment. This is a lovely rural place to stay not far from Yackandandah; the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. A great value for the price. The owner was most accommodating; he told us about the area and recommended places to eat in town. Not to mention his friendly little dog which was happy to receive lots of attention!

Allowed mountain bikes to be stored securely in the room (carefully keeping the walls in mind respectfully) without hesitation. I will certainly stay here again on my next excursion to bright

Established in 1854, Quality Inn The George Hotel Ballarat is situated on the historic Lydiard Street North and features a bar and restaurant. It is a 1 minute walk from Her Majesty's Theatre. Nice old, traditional building with high ceilings and a cosy bar with plenty of space and good food. Mini bar prices were very resonable, room was spacious and overall facilities were great and friendly staff.
