Instead of a mini bar, their was a large fridge in the common area filled with assorted beverages, including organic wine produced by his son. The facility was clean, simple and well maintained. Our host’s garden added even more charm. In the morning, our breakfast included fresh apple juice from their own fruit, jams from their apricots, fresh tomatoes and herbs from the garden and other locally sourced treats. He could be more friendly and accommodating. Because our trip to Loosdorf was due to our car breaking down, after breakfast Rudolph drove us to the repair shop to pick up our car.

We also had a dinner first day we arrived and the food was delicious. Especially I would like to mention e-bike rent option - we were given top rated e-bikes, fully charged, it was really great way to conquer 45km round trip through hills.

The host and staff are very welcoming and I certainly felt like I was home. The rooms are well organised, clean, and comfortable and offers everything you need for a good night's rest. The room includes a power socket with multiple USB ports which is perfect for charging all the electronic devices I use for cycling (watch, headphones, cell phones etc). The included breakfast is delicious and nurioushing-dont forget to try the homemade apricot jam! The on-site restaurant offers a wide range of tasty home-cooked meals and the outdoor area provides a wonderful setting with flowers and decorations. Just across the road, there is a nice little park which overs a great afternoon for relaxing and a swim. Look out for a view of Stift Melk in the distance.
