The room is warm (the heating also worked well), well equipped, bed comfortable and above all everything is clean. The bathroom is clean and spacious, good water pressure and a good hairdryer. The breakfast is ample and delicious. The host, Susana, was friendly and accommodating to our travel schedule. We have been traveling for a while and it was very convenient that she could do our laundry - we dropped it off in the morning before heading out and by evening everything was clean and neatly folded, for a very fair price. We could park our car right in front of the house. Definitely worth being a bit outside of the city in order to stay here.

Lucas and his wife were very friendly and welcomed us very nicely. Lucas speaks English well and helped us with many suggestions, and we talked a lot. It was a pleasure to entertain conversation with him. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is enough to start the day. And if you need you can keep your staff in the fridge. Located next to El Chalten’s trekking circuits and walking distance from the main road and the city centre, Hosteria El Puma offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. what a gem. a large and beautiful cabin room with an outdoor terrace was absolutely delightful and great value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with fresh cooked eggs options. you can walk to everything from here. it was quite and a perfect retreat. We would definitely stay again.

The owners are very helpful and friendly. They were able to do some laundry for us and give us some great advice about local places to eat and visit.

I loved how cozy the place is and the warmth I felt from the whole family. They were very kind and helped me find good places to eat and companies I scheduled the tour for the visit to the glaciers. This was my first time traveling solo, but I felt very much at home during my stay.

From bed and the adorable sitting area you can see a peak of the famous Fitz Roy. The rooms decor is stunning, the staff are always kind and helpful. It was quiet, excellent WiFi (best in town), and a gorgeous design. If I could, I would only stay here. The bathrooms are white stone, heated floors and lovely but private windows, the bedroom has wooden floors. The bed and beautiful chairs are extremely comfortable. The common area has art that is genuinely good, most places in town have generic almost eerie outdoor stock images. Wish every hotel was as well done. This place is a gem.

Closed to El Chalten, 8 km from Cerro Fitz Roy, Puesto Cagliero - Refugio de montaña boasts views of the Cagliero Glacier. You can get to the property through a 3 hour trek through the Diable River. We loved staying here. The staff were warm and welcoming! The food was delicious after long days of hiking, and my husband is gluten free and all the food for him was homemade and fresh, which is very rare! The room was cozy, private and the showers were very hot! You can truly disconnect and relax here, and recharge before heading back to the city. We loved all the trails in the park, and had a couple very big days of hiking since you have to back track back to the visitor centre for most of the hikes. Truly magical place and would highly recommend!
