Everything! The house is beautiful, the neighbourhood is quiet. Several bus stops and capitol hill station of link lightrail in walking distance. Joelle and Ryan are perfect hosts. Their family is very welcoming. We spent 8 nights in the most economical room but still it was just simply amazing. The common areas are also nice. It was the best choice to book here and will come back for sure.

Location for my needs was just what I needed - arrived late night at SEATAC airport and was taking an early ferry from downtown Seattle, and the Inn was in between the two. Short 15 minute drive in the morning with very little traffic. The room was fine and the breakfast was fine.

We really enjoyed the downtown feel. We loved the restaurant onsite, breakfast was included with are stay and it was amazing. We also dined for dinner, and happy hour. We appreciated how secure the building was. We never felt unsafe which is huge. Security at every door. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Excellent overall. The room was extremely large & so incredibly comfortable. I had a light dinner in their restaurant—amazingly great grilled chicken sandwich with a salad & super cheesecake for dessert. The gracious chef even came out of the kitchen to help me select a salad dressing.

Was upgraded to Queen room which was rather small. I wonder what the petite queen room is. Room had an inner sliding door in front of exterior sliding door which eliminated the street noise. Very nice. No noise between adjacent units but the floors transmit noise above and below. Mini fridge and microwave. 2 cups, 2 glasses, no silverware or plates for heating items in microwave. Overall, I would return. The bicycles are a plus although we did not use them.

Seattle Gaslight Inn is a beautiful and quaint house in the Capitol Hill district. It is quite a long way from Seattle City Centre. It is walkable (about 45 minutes down a rather steep hill), but the walk back to the house is quite challenging and takes about 1 hour on foot. Breakfast is very good (fresh fruit, delicious cakes, bagels and yoghurt). The owners live in the house with their 2 children and are there if you need help and advice.

I love staying here when I come to Seattle, and while it has been a couple of years, it is still a great place to stay. Anne, our hostess, was really friendly and asked about any dietary need for breakfast. She also went out of her way to engage with the guests, making sure to remember names and asking what people were doing for their day. I really recommend staying here. There are also great dining selections for lunch and dinner within walking distance.
