We found this hotel incredibly comfortable. The bed was really soft, the shower had great pressure and a big bathroom and the hotel provided nice amenities like free water, ramen and earplugs. The hotel was also in a great area, easy to walk to restaurants, buses to Taroko nearby and the night market also close by

I rate hotels mainly by the quality of the staff,. In this case I got to say each one was helpful, charismatic and all around approachable. Including the owner, that was personally helpful. He only introduced himself as a member of the staff Next day we figured out who he was.

I really liked the snacks in the lobby and the breakfast is delicious!! Very comfortable and spacious dorms with lots of storage - the rooftop is amazing and very comfortable wifi is strong in entire building

Friendly staff and accommodated well for our baby (cot and baby bath). About 10 minute walking distance to Dongdamen night market.

Everything. Don’t be deceived by the outside. This place is a little gem. You walk in and see things chic industrial hotel with funky things to look at. The reception / bar space is awesome. The staff were lovely too. The breakfast was very surprisingly tasty. We couldn’t choose what we ate but we loved it. They had some local art hanging on the wall. We bought a piece to remind us of our first night in Taiwan The location is a bit out of the main city but we had a walk around to find places to eat. The city with the hustle and bustle is probably 20 -30 mins away. Don’t regret this stay at all. We loved it. Can also rent bicycle.

We liked that the room which we stayed in was spacious, Owner of the place was very helpful regarding the transportation around Hualien in this exceptional time(the biggest earthquake happened just 3 days ago). We are grateful for the hospitality.

this is an old building with nice theme decorations , it’s pretty cool we had AC problems with the room late night, and they moved us to another one smaller unit, upon check out they refunded us the difference and gave us a tiny present and most importantly an apology note, certainly made everything very forgiving
