The little beach huts are very sweet & rustic, if that’s the vibe you’re after. The staff bring you fresh watermelon without you asking while you’re by the pool which was my highlight. The cleaners were very on it with making our beds each day - even when i told them they didn’t need to because I had a work call, they wouldn’t leave hahaha.

The showers were suuuuper good and the bathroom is definitely a unique selling point of this stay. I was visiting this hostel during Christmas and they organised a lovely dinner for everyone to join. One of the most relax beaches (Freedom Beach) on Koh Tao is on walking distance.

The staff spoke pretty good English and were helpful. The guest house is located close to the main road and the central area, but in a quiet part, so there was not much noise, and yet, it was a quick walk to restaurants and shops. The nearby beach is quite useless, if you want to swim, though. Renting a motorbike is a good idea on Koh Tao.MariaSolo traveller

It was very quiet at night. The cafe is a great place to hang out. It offers plenty of high quality and tasty food, for breakfast guests are charged for drinks and extras only. We loved the facility and it was perfect for our stay! The kitchen allows us to have a romantic dinner, and the snorkels allow us to explore Shark Bay. We were made to feel comfortable and at ease by the receptionists. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed in. This place is becoming our number one favorite! Cape Shark will certainly be on our list of places to visit again
